Audio Sample Rate Detector?

So I'm trying to rip some DVD's but the audio i grows more and more out of sync as the video goes along.

Is there a program that will get information on the sample rate and other information of the source DVD so that i can match it properly in the ripping program?

well i'm ripping them in HandBrake and have tried every single possible combination of audio sample rate and bitrate and it always falls out of sync... suggestions?!
