Hey, I'm trying to figure out how I can get the audio to play back while I'm working in Flash MX 2004--basically, so I can sync the images with the audio. I know I've done this before, but I forgot how--I think I messed up a setting. Can someone help me out?

OK thanks to my good friend Eric I have an answer.

Eric: just tell him to select the sound file that he wants to stream the visual with in the layers area and then choose "Stream" in the pulldown menu in the properties window

Hope that helps :)

Thanks for the help! That makes what I'm trying to do a **lot** easier!

Be careful with that--I've often found that the sync in the timeline doesn't exactly match the sync in the published swf. On multiple occasions I've had to intentially put something slightly OUT of sync in the timeline to get it to appear exactly where I want in the finished product.

Thanks for the tip. I'm just doing a basic music/image sync (for now), so it's not too much trouble. However, it's good to know. Thanks again!
