Hi there,
I currently have a Macbook Pro 13 (only 1 port for both audio in/out), an Xbox, and their AV VGA cables for my monitor.
The following setup is as follows: Xbox -> Monitor by VGA, and the component audio going into my mac. My mac then uses LineIn, a program that passes the audio through to my speakers.
This is great, but what I want to do is, have the audio port used as both an input and an output, which I assume can be done using some sort of splitter. This way, I can get the following setup (so I can control volume/record audio):
Xbox Audio -> Audio in/out port -> Macbook Pro -> Audio in/out port -> headphones
Does anyone know what I need to accomplish this? Or if this is even possible? I know it's a bit confusing to read, so I apologize in advance.
Thanks MacRumors!
