What is the best way to split an audio source coming out of the Thunderbolt Display?
When I have my rMBP connected via the thunderbolt cable, the audio comes out of the Thunderbolt Display speakers, correct? What is the best way to send the audio from the display to my pair of Logitech 2.1 speaker sets?
Initially I thought I could use a USB sound card as there is obviously no audio out jack on the display itself, but if I am trying to split the audio so it plays the exact same out of two separate sets of speakers, how would you suggest going about doing that? Should I purchase a dedicated audio interface type thing? Or would a simple dongle with a male to two female audio jacks do the trick?
Apologies if this is making a mountain out of a molehill~~~
