Audio stuttering/static MBA 2020 Base

Hi all,

I'm having some issues with the audio on my system. YouTube started stuttering on the audio. It would also get static when playing a video, so I closed it down and turned on iTunes/Music, same issue. I just re-installed Catalina yesterday and had no issues until recently.

The most recent thing I've installed is Microsoft Teams, but that was a few hours ago. After that, I've been running Xcode and iOS Simulator for some apps.

I'll try a reboot, but anything else I can try in case it doesn't work?

Try creating a new clean user account, login to the new user, and see if the issues happen in the new user account.
