Hello to you all,

This is the first time i'm visiting this forums so I don't know if this has already been asked :)

See, last year I got a myself a MBP mid 2010 model and lately I want to start watching movies by connecting the MBP to my HD tv. I went straight to Amazon and got myself this adapter:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/DisplayPort-Adapter-Converter-Cablesson-Unibody/dp/B002WSM2N6/ref=pd_ybh_1?pf_rd_p=138755991&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_t=1501&pf_rd_i=ybh&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=089K60MF0CDP2PT3DX0G

So, as soon as I got my adapter I plugged it into one of the 4 HDMI ports the tv has and connected it with the MiniDisplayport on my MBP.

Screen quality was excellent but the unfortunately the audio didn't work.
My tv audio comes through a bose home cinema system so I thought that might the problem. I did some research and saw some suggestions about connecting MBP to the Bose system through the AUX inputs in orde to solve the problem. Haven't tried it yet.

So does anyone know how to fix this?
