Says it increases the speaker volume. Anyone able to actually tell?

To be honest with you i do not know why you would want to increase the volume. And i hve noticed no different. What you need to do is buy a decent pair of earphones cos apples are rubbish lol

I'm more intrested in the system sounds like the ringer, text, and email sounds.

if your playing music on the loudspeaker on the iphone use the bass reducer equalizer !

otherwise revert back to the one you normally use for headphone use.

I don't know if you're talking about using this hack and then having poor sound quality, but if your just using the preset factory volume... I tried using rock and the lows distorted badly (and I'm using quality earbuds). Try using latin, know it sounds weird but it seems to be like rock, only slightly reducing the bass and treble to a manageable output for the phones tiny internal amp.

Again, I'm talking only about system sounds only. Trying to listen to audio through the speaker is much like trying to put out a fire by spitting thru a straw. I have a DB meter, maybe I will do a little test to see.

This app has increased my volume at least two fold...watching movies with the tiny system speaker was actually quite enjoyable and was far louder (yet not distorted) than before adding AudioAmp...my iPod music was also much louder than before adding AA and was also not distorted, however I use no EQ...
All in all I quite like this app...
