I recently downloaded an audiobook which is unabridged and is around 8 hours long. When I uploaded it to iTunes on my Mac it shows up fine but when I put it on my iPhone 5s it just shows the audio as 8 minutes long.
The weird thing is that when it reaches 8 minutes it keeps playing but when I pause it or try to fast forward the track it turns off as if the track has finished. So basically I can either sit and listen to the full audio for 8 hours or I'll never hear the end.
What has caused this and how can it be fixed?
