My OG is stuck on 15.6 and when checking for updates says it’s up to date. Has anyone had AudioOS 16 installed on their original HomePod? It was, apparently, released yesterday (Monday). Thanks.

One of my OG’s is downloading it as we speak. Holding off the install until my phone gets the update first but I am seeing it download.

Same on my HomePod mini, says it is currently downloading. I already updated my iPhone 13 Pro Max to iOS 16.

Cheers. Mine just won’t update. My minis are all up to date on 16 but not the OG. Might reset it!

It took my mini a long time to download the update, but once it did the update went fairly quickly. Any idea of what new stuff 16 brings? I only use mine to listen to White Noise at night and as the main Homekit hub. I rarely ask Siri questions or ask her to do things.

My minis are both downloading right now. My OGs haven't started yet.

Not a feature, more of a major bug fix, but HomeKit responsiveness is improved somewhat. Apple absolutely screwed it up in 15!
