Well, I have installed an audiophile 2496 audio card in my mac and have run into some problems. The output to my stereo system works fine, but when I try to record, things it seems to "drop" audio. That is the best way that I can explain it. It simply skips certain portions of the audio that I am trying to record 
. In the manual it has a troubleshooting section and it claimed that those problems were caused when the bandwith got bogged down. It seems to work ok in os 9 after some configuration, but I dislike having to work in that os. I e-mailed technical support, but they just answered another question that I had, and neglected my main one. I was wondering if any of you have tryed this card/know anything about my problem. I am using peak dv 3.03 to record audio. Thanks.
