I got a promotional email earlier today announcing CompUSA's "Go Back to School in Style" Apple Notebook & Desktop Sale.
All Macs are included and all prices are "slashed" (have to put in basket to view discounted price). I'm sure it's just the typical discounts offered to students ($50 - $200).
They did this last year too, but I don't remember an email blast. It was just a kind of like "Hey, I happened to walk in to 'InCompetentUSA' and look... discounted Apple stuff!".
Whatev.
I just found this interesting because of the timing in relation to the Apple Media event this Tuesday.
So start the rampant "Apple's clearing the channels for the new Mac products" rumors and speculation.
