The non-retina mbp's ships within 1-3 days, and delivers within 2-5 days after shipping.
Mine arrived.
Ordered within 5 minutes of the store being back up (stayed up for the keynote). Received my base model 8gb RMBP last Tuesday (Perth). It is a huge improvement over my 2009 Pro and the screen really is great! I feel for those still waiting - hopefully it won't be too much longer!

What route did it take from Shanghai,China to Perth,Australia ?
How long did it take?
My order was processed on 26th and shipped on 27th. According to TNT website im supposed to get it on 2nd July, Monday but its still stuck on this

What was your TNT "Estimated due" ?
Mine says "05 Jul 2012", but I'm hoping for 04 Jul delivery.
Estimated due was the 20th. As you can see, it made it to Perth before that but they weren't rushing to get it to me.
Can I join in (from the East Island here), ordered 13/7 7am GST, 2.6/16/768, said 11-17th, changed to 13-19th (I rang to complain but they swore blind it hadn't changed), went preparing/shipping on Saturday night, arrived Auckland this afternoon. Just waiting for it to come down to Christchurch, pretty sure that should happen before the weekend even with the usual TNT foul-ups...

Was supposed to ship on the 9th-16th.
Shipped on the 2nd. Supposed to arrive by the 5th in perth. Just arrived in sydney. Hopfully makes over west and to my door by tomorrow! Fingers crossed!

Tell me about it. Mine was in pudong on the 30th, still not here. It's been in NZ for 4 days now and they've now moved it to 'delivering by mail' as I'm 30 minutes from the centre on the country's second biggest city and TNT call that too rural to bother delivering to. If they'd put it in the mail on Sunday of course it'd have been here by now. If they'd put it in the mail in shanghai it would have been here last weekend. Four days is how long the post takes from the uk to my door, but with TNT four days is only getting it from Auckland to some depot in Christchurch.
Apple really need to realise how bad TNT is and stop using them. The couriers I use in business can deliver a package of this size overnight anywhere in the country for $4. If they took four days and then decided to mail it instead I wouldn't be using them.

Ok so I've found Pixelmator, gfxCardStatus, VMWare Fusion (half the price of parallels so trying it out first), setresx, MAMP, Netbeans, Chrome canary. What's next?
What's the expert consensus on Thunderbird for Mac? I have around 80Gb of emails in Thunderbird on Windows going back over ten years. I can presumably just shove these into the Mac. But would I be better off transferring to Apple Mail? Does this integrate better into other things? I don't want to pay for 80gb of iCloud though! Perhaps I should keep an account on iCloud for ipad and MacMail usage, then keep my "real" email in Thunderbird. What do others do?
