The Apple Australia home page this morning now says the iPad is due locally in 'late April'.

Really? I'm sure I looked a few days ago and it didn't have a date then... sorry if I'm late with the news.

I did a search first and found no threads about it.

Dang, I'm in PNG and I'm visiting OZ for the first half of April. Looks like I'm outta there before it hits the shelves.

There was also a little stuff-up on Saturday morning.

I happened to be up from about 2:30AM and when I checked the Australian site to see if we had the new updated features pages I noticed that we had "Starting at $499. Coming late April" on the front page. I almost fell of my chair.

It was "fixed" and returned to a blank space about four or five hours later.

Would have posted about it earlier but I've been in the sin bin all weekend
