Australian in-store stock

I’ve been keeping an eye on 14” standard configuration models for in-store pick up however there hasn’t been stock at Apple stores for around a week now (Australia). Even doing a larger search around the country it seems there is very little stock. 16” models seem to be in the same situation.
Apple’s Amazon store also has no stock (they actually offered 10% off a week ago).
Anyone know if/when we should expect stock should be arriving in-store? I understand there is obvious stock constraints, but I did think there would be stock trickle out to the Apple stores every few days.
Hopefully we see more stock arrive this week.

They were on sale and instock (10% off at officeworks and good guys last week) grabbed a 1tb 14" model last weekend - the 10% off thing seems to come up often and is cheaper than even buying @ apples edu price> If you specifically wanto buy from an apple store and "skip the queue" watch this> good luck.........
