I recently bought an iPhone 4S from Australia (through my friend). I would like to ask whether it will work with GSM networks worldwide?

If it's factory unlocked, then yes. If it's been activated through an Australian network, however, it's likely locked to that network.

i haven't received it yet. It will arrive this week hopefully. It cost me 799 A$, i believe its Factory Unlocked then.
