Hello.
After installing Snow Leopard, I cannot install anything, not even system updates. The installers ignore that i press the "Install" button to authentize me… The same happens with the system preference panes which I cant unlock. The installers just don't continue. I've reset all my passwords… What could it be? I installed Snow Leopard via external drive, as my ODD doesn't work. Before i had installed 10.5.8, everything worked fine for the last five years (Macbook Pro 2,2).

This is driving me crazy… Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

What Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard version did you use?
Have you performed a clean install or an upgrade install?
And how did you go from Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger to Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard? Erase & Install or Upgrade?

With retail install disks from Tiger to Leopard (update)
