Until recently I used the two-step Authy authenticator app on my 2014 Mac Mini running Mojave but now the app is no longer available. I'm now struggling to find a good alternative that is available for the older software and I'd rather not upgrade to the likes of Monterey. Can anyone recommend a suitable alternative to Authy?

Hi, Thanks for your reply but my computer literacy is very limited and I don't understand anything of what you have written.

Authy still works if you download 2.4.2 and then use something like Lulu or little snitch to block access to the update server (pkg.authy.com and electron.authy.com) (also by locking the .app file as a backup measure)

I'm going to ASSume that you have a smartphone? Use Authy on that, that's what I do.

At least for me, pretty much never used Authy on Mac, phone was/is always close by, not a big deal to enter six numbers vs copy/paste from the app.

Unfortunately, I don't have a smart phone!! I could download Authy 2.4.2 but I don't understand what saudor says about Lulu and little snitch. I would need clear guidance on that please.

Thanks for the suggestion but it requires OS 10.15 so it won't work on Mojave.

Can you give me more information please on what to do? Thank you.
