Authentification error

Hey guys,
I recently created a new user account and when I have to authenticate, it asks for the password to the first account I created after I installed the OS. Since that account's deleted, I can't use that password, so nothing works. This problem only comes up for new accounts, which I'm assuming is because I just deleted my first account yesterday. I don't have my install CD anymore, so I don't know what to do. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Why did you delete your first account?

Anyway, to answer your question, try creating a new account with administrative rights. Does that need authentication? If it does, I'm not sure what else to try. You should do some Googling.

Are you sure you deleted that account? It doesn't make much sense that there isn't that account if it was the only one that was an admin. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't let you do that.
