auto-adjust columns in finder's list view gone?

Hey my dearest cream-filled gummy bears,

is it just me or doesn't double clicking the space between two columns in Finder's list view have the effect it used to in SL?

Yes, it appears that it's no longer there in list view, but it still works in column view.
