Auto App Update

Does anyone auto app update works? Maybe i am missing something, but my app never update on their own. I left it for there for 2 or more day then i decide to up hit update on my own. I even toggle auto update off and on. It does seem to work on my iPad at time on my iPad, which make me think that I'm missing something. Any help with me appreciate.

Had the same issue on my iPad all throughout the betas, but never really had it work properly on iOS 10 either. I gave up a long time ago and just manually check.

I do know that it must be connected to power, WiFi, and not in use to work, but I still haven’t seen it work in that scenario.
