Auto Backlit Illumination?

i am using Macbook Pro 17 inch, i have installed Lion on it, after installing it my keyboard backlight is not illuminating automatically in low light, i can set it manually but its not working automatically, in low light the screen is dimming automatically but not keyboard backlight
Please help
