Hey all, I got an iPhone 16 Pro Max in the last few days and I noticed something off with the auto-brightness.

For example, now it is working, but if I reboot the phone, it will not work at all after the reboot unless I go manually to the option, toggle it off and on, then it will work fine until next reboot.

I am on iOS 18.5 and already set the phone as fresh.

Does anyone have this issue as well?

I’ve experienced something similar on multiple iPhones were after a restart the screen brightness stays on relatively high until you turn the screen off/on manually or it times out.

Not sure if that’s specifically your issue.

Well, the issue I am facing is that the iPhone after the reboot doesn't adapt to the ambient anymore until I manually toggle off and on the auto-brightness option.
After doing that, it works normally.
