Auto-Brightness won't turn off

I have turned my auto-brightness off in the settings, but my MacBook is still adjusting the screen brightness. Any suggestions on what to try?

Try the Energy Saver (?) section of System Preferences and make sure to uncheck the feature that dims the screen when on battery power.
