iOS Auto-connect to peer/server

Hi,
I have checked out the latest WiTap sample codes and found that they had to go into a waiting screen, waiting to join a game or waiting for people to join your game.

I wanted to make it such that i will skip the waiting screen, i will go straight into my game menu. And when I hit the button multiplayer, it then auto connect to a peer without the need of the waiting screen. Is that even possible?

Help greatly appreciated.
