iPhone 12 Pro Auto connect WiFi

Hello there!

Does anyone else notice that their phone does not auto connect to known wifi?

Its very annoying that you manually have to go inside settings to choose a wifi connection. Even though its my home/work network it does not reconnect once iam near the router.

i dont know why anyone would want to auto connect

Try toggling wifi off then on in control center to grab it. Not an answer to the fundamental problem but maybe an easier workaround.

Try rebooting your phone and/or router Works fine here and I think it would be all over the news if it was a general problem.

I have my wifi set to “notify” on ask to join network and “auto join” only for my home (and other wifi’s I want to auto connect). It only auto connects to my home, girlfriend, etc. so it’s possible your device might have a bug.. Maybe consider resetting network settings and restarting your device?

auto connect to ONLY your home is faboulus

seems there is a list of previously avliable wifi. If this list is what I think it is it should be edited to include your home & your iPhoe hotSpot tether names at the top of the list. the list is searched for the first working wifi so maybe include your work wifi too?

i guess if you feel confiant you will not wind up using a undefined network its ok
