I had a setting extension on Ipad1 that let you choose the type of light(incandescent, florescent, ambient). Set at incandescent,it would dim the ipad in the evening to a sepia color which worked great for reading.I inadvertently dumped it and am unable to find. Any help would be appreciated by this old man!
Thanx, laz

Is your iPad jailbroken? I don't think there's an app for non-jailbroken devices that will do this system-wide.

If you have a non-jailbroken iPad and are only talking about reading books with Apple's iBooks app, check out the latest version of iBooks - it has 'night time' setting (under 'Themes') that works extremely well for reading at night. In addition, it has the Sepia option.

Hope this helps!
