Have you tried following the cleaning instructions on pp. 52-53 of the Advanced User Guide that should have come on a CD with your printer?
A line can be caused by something as innocent-looking or hard-to-notice as a speck of dust. As stated, be sure to clean both the white bar and the glass, but there's probably something suck to the glass under the white bar (on the bed itself, I mean, not "above" or literally underneath the surface of the bar itself).
If you've cleaned it a couple times as stated in the manual and you still haven't noticed any improvement, try shining a flashlight or something on the surface of the glass to see if you can see anything then. Some people have said this has helped them. Or, as stated in the manual, running your finger along the surface may help do the same.
