Hi all,

I am stuck with a problem. The problem is that I have two folders. What i'd like is that when I place an item in the main folder it automatically duplicates in the second folder thus keeping both folders in sync.

The folders are in seprate locations within the system. Is this possible? Maybe an Automator action?

How would I go about this?

Maybe a Folder Action?

Right click on the folder and select Folder Action, see if one of the options is copy file.

A folder action is triggered each time a file is placed in the folder.

You can create new folder actions in Automator.

I've had a play and have managed to get a new folder action to work so that when I add something to the folder it duplicates in the second folder. However if I remove something from folder one it doesn't remove from folder two. Nor does it automatically update what's already in folder one at the time of applying the folder action.

Suggestions?
