Hey All, I have read another post on apple forums about this but it had no replies. This one is for the video/photographers.

On iPhone 12 pro (and I've seen it on the 11 pro too), when I try and lock the AF/AE on a shot, the focus seems to lock but the exposure only partially locks. In the video below you'll see some light fluctuations under the bay window. Almost like the camera is still trying to compensate. I've also tried the same shot with the Moment and Filmic Pro apps and don't get the same issue. Which leads me to believe it's a software thing. Does locking the exposure not fully lock it? Is there some other software compression/artifact/noise stuff going on since it wasn't the brightest conditions? I'm wondering if the software still tries to do things even if the exposure is locked in the native app.
