Just got my MBP but the most annoying thing about OS X is the menubar that shows things like "File" & "Edit" at all times. Clutters the screen and I prefer a clean look like W7 and Chrome (no menubar).

I figure someone has to have an app that simply hides these options until mouse over on the menubar. It could just show the apple and the app name, until mouse over.

Please tell me someone has this. I would be terribly disappointed if such a simple thing can't be done.

Does anyone have a solution for this on Lion?
I Googled a method to enable authide at an app by app basis, but its not going to cut it for me at this time.
