Greetings,

I love Low Power Mode because it greatly enhances my battery life.

The one thing that I don't love about it is that Auto-Lock is limited to 30 seconds when on Low Power Mode.

The screen dims a little bit before the 30 seconds are up, and then Auto-Lock kicks in.

Is there any way to use Low Power Mode and bypass that 30 second limitation?

I believe the only thing I can do is enable Attention Aware Features (the description of that setting says "iPhone will check for attention before dimming the display...).

Does this also mean that Auto-Lock will not kick in the phone detects that I am reading the screen? Or do I specifically have to aim my eyes towards the Face ID sensor to prevent Auto-Lock from kicking in while having the Attention Aware Features setting enabled?

Or is the only way to keep Auto-Lock from kicking in is by tapping the screen to reset the 30-second timer?

Any and all help will be greatly appreciated.

You can’t bypass the 30s limit as it’s part of LPM. Attention Aware works while you’re looking at the screen and not directly at the sensor and doesn’t turn off the screen till you actually look away.

Thank you very much!

What you can do is just set Auto-Lock for 2 or 3 minutes because there appears to be a bug where it dims and locks way sooner than the preset time (other than the 30 second preset). When I use 3 minutes my phone dims at around one minute and locks 15 seconds later.
