Hi,

I hate having to put a password in when I open up my MacBook Air, so I disabled that but it says in doing so it has taken it upon itself to disable wallet/credit cards for me.

Is there a way around this? Surely we should choose weather we want to disable them just because auto login is on.

Fingerprint still works for websites I've noticed. like login details.

Thanks

That seems like a reasonable security requirement. But let me ask, if you have TouchID, why are you concerned about typing your password when you open the lid? TouchID will get you in without typing.

You might consider going back to using the password to log in.
IT PROTECTS YOU, and the MacBook as well.

ah ok, never knew that. I find it just slows the loading of OS down having to faff with finger print or password, id rather open the lid, go make a cup of tea then when I come back its ready.

You can do that and just accept that credit cards in the wallet are disabled.
