Auto/Manual wifi syncing not working?

Anyone not able to wifi sync? It is not automatically syncing when plugged in. I am also unable to do it manually either. It says it will sync to my desktop when the computer becomes available. Pretty sure they are communicating wi each other, because home sharing is working. Any thoughts?

I can sync over wifi manually, but mine has never done an auto sync .... very annoying

The next time you plug phone in via USB cable, make sure the option is checked in iTunes "Sync this iPhone over Wi-Fi".

Hopefully that solves the issue. Otherwise, I'm at a loss. Mine works fine once I realized I needed that option checked.
