I bought last week my first iPhone and after the first 2-3 days of setting up everything I have to say I get along quite well. I use my phone a lot for translating words in different dictionary apps. Of course I want this task to take as little time as possible but I immediately noticed that on iOS this is a tiny bit slower. The reason is that every time I type something in the searchbar of the app I first have to delete the previous search title. In iOS I can either press the delete button in the search bar or double tab to delete then. This is easier in Android as every time I go back to the search bar, the previous word is automatically marked. I’m just pressing the delete button on my keyboard to delete the whole search bar, and go on typing the new word. Can I setup this up also in iOS? It seems minor but for me to press one more button takes quite a bit of time over time.

Furthermore, and this is even worse for my experience is in browser translating: the rapid tap on translation of Google translate and Yandex is not working also not on chrome. This means I also just have to press one button more (mark the word -> share... -> press on Yandex; Google Translate for some reason is not even showing up. For most people this doesn’t matter at all since most are translating things 1-2 times a day, but as I said I translate probably 50 times in 10min, at the end of the day this also adds up time. Here android seems far ahead.
