Auto Photo scanner?

Hello everyone!

Hope you've all had a nice holiday and time with the family.

Im looking to buy/rent some sort of equipment which can automatically scan photos and send it to my MBP.

I've have well over 2000 photos (on photo paper), and i need to get a digital copy of them but i dont want to scan them all in, one by one.
Is there a something that can do it for me?
Also, the same for negivates. (although the actual photos at the moment are more important since i dont have all the negivates for them).

I think CVS will do something like this for you, you hand them a bunch of photos and they give you a Photo CD. I've only done the reverse process, so i'm not sure of this, can anyone verify?

yeah you can get a cd from cvs or you can get a cd from walmart
