auto reply email loop problem

Im trying to set up an automatic reply in mac mail, but everytime i do it, i end up in these endless loops of them coming back to me, like 're.re.re.re.re.re' etc

Ive search the net high and low and i just cant figure out how to stop this.

All i want is my message to reply automatically if anyone emails me.

What rules should i create to stop this endless email loop?

This is easy to do if you are using Apple iCloud email.
Most mail servers such as Shaw (my local ISP) and Google mail offer a similar service.
