So my dad isn't very computer savvy, so he requested that I try to create a template for him so he can fill things out and then print them automatically.

So I used Adobe Acrobat DC on my windows computer to create a fillable PDF, making sure that auto-resize is selected. However, when I test it on my dad's computer (my old macbook pro running Yosemite), I can't get auto-resizing to work. Preview just continues the line and doesn't resize it to fit, Adobe Reader and other PDF editors / readers do the same.

I'm at my wits end here. Does anyone have any solutions on how to resolve this? Thanks.

On a side note -- auto resizing works fine on my computer.
