I was wondering if anyone has noticed this issue I have.

Over the last few years there have been a few times I have had multiple AW and initially I always have used the Auto Switch setting in the Watch app, but eventually turn it off as I seem to get excessive battery drain.

I just got an Ultra to partner with my S7 and noticed excessive drain again with this on. I turned it off yesterday and battery life appears a lot better. I notice it on both watches.

Does anyone else have this issue?

what does excessive drain mean? I wear my Ultra from getting up one day til going the bed the next day, then put on my S7 for sleep tracking and put it on the charger the following evening and it's typically ~45% at that point.
and yes, I have auto switch on.

My AW7 normally ‘burns’ 4% an hour (not sure what is normal for Ultra as new) - on auto switch the AW7 was doing 6-8% and the AWU 5%. Turned it off and AW7 normal and AWU is around 1.5-2%

Thanks

What are you guys referring to when you say auto switch? Cheers.

Edit: oh is it a setting that is only visible if you have more than one Apple Watch paired?

Ok, I honestly don’t pay that much attention as my Ultra is my primary watch and the S7 I’m using for sleep tracking on the one night when the Ultra is being charged.
