I am new to Mac. In my old Dell computer in word I could record an auto text and when I needed that text, I would just type a few letters and press F3 and the text would appear. I was able to record the Auto text, but have no idea how to activate it, in other words, what replaces the F3??
Thank you for your help

System Preferences (Apple menu, top left) -> Keyboard -> Text tab

You can add "Replace/With" pairs there.

Not quite the same as pressing F3 to autocomplete but should get the same thing done.
