...So I'm having a SkillsUSA competition and plan on taking my 24" iMac.
Now, two questions:

1. Most important, is it okay to swap RAM for one day from my 2GB MBP to my 1GB iMac? The extra 1GB might be usefull.

2. Should I run windows in Bootcamp or in Fusion?

I'd really appreciate your help with this.

Oh, I thought that it would be better to take my 24" iMac rather than my 15" MBP because of the added screen real estate.

EDIT: both computers have a 2.4 gHz processor.

Thanks!

Autocad should run just fine in Fusion however if what you have to do with Autocad is extremely processor intensive then Bootcamp is recommended. Yes you can swap ram between the MBP and iMac as they each use the same ram.

SWEET DEAL.

Thanks man.

And for other people who use AutoCAD, any tips for competition? Things to study for etc.?

This is a highschool SkillsUSA competition.
