Hi, i'm looking for an alternative to "Tidymymusic" from Wondershare, which i tried out and it's exactly what i need. Downside it's too expensive (29 EUR), so are there any alternatives, paid or free that can:

- scan folders (not iTunes library)
- detect and update correctly the MP3 tags (album, title, genre, year, etc..)
- check and update album art

Thx!

Hey, I think that Tag editor Free might be a great option for you, it automatically updates the mp3 tags and allows you to have a clear view of what you have already updated and what information is missing yet.

I downloaded it a few months ago and it works perfectly for me. Just download whatever music you want, import it to Tag editor, press 'action' and 'get tags' and there you go. Your whole music library tagged and ready to go!

You can download it on amvidia.com, where you can find even more similar applications that you might want to download. For example, the 'To MP3 Converter' is such a nice application to work with. As it converts your YouTube playlist it also corrects the basic tags for you, so you don't have to do as much work. It takes care of the album art, the artists and correct the song name.

Either way, Tag Editor Free is one of the best programs out there, I have tried millions where I just had to pay too much after the trial version or only allowed the trail version to go as far as 20 songs. So this might just be what you're looking for!
