Automate Extraction of Frames in iMovie

Hi everybody,

I have a problem. I need to extract frames every 15 seconds from my movie files for my Biology lab data analysis, but I don't know how to automate this task. Doing it in iMovie by hand is time consuming, especially since I've got 3-minute-long videos, and I've got like 21 of such videos to finish up.

Does anybody know of any solution to this problem?
