Hello,
We have a new Automated Animation Tool called Creature that runs on the Mac. It is targeted at both general media/illustration and game development communities.
Creature takes a single image (image of separated out body parts of your character) and then allows you to deform and animate it.
Creature allows for both manual FK (keyframe) and automated animation. Automated animation is achieved using the concept of bone and mesh motors. Essentially these are animation components that perform a specific task on a character.
This essentially means you can easily automate the animation of walking, running, flying, flesh/muscle action in Creature.
Here is the trailer:

Website:

Creature exports into most major file formats (PNG, spritesheets, movies) and game engines + HTML5/WebGL as well.
Here is a raptor animated in Creature and exported out to WebGL:

Fantasy character exported out to WebGL:

Another dinosaur:

Cheers!
