Automatic audio output selection

Hi guys

I have a pair of USB speakers. When I connect them to my MBA 2010, audio output is automatically chosen to be these speakers as opposed to internal speakers (at least i think they're automatically chosen)

Now I've bought a mini-DP to HDMI cable to connect the MBA to the TV. Picture is automatically set to the TV when connected, but I have to manually choose the TV speakers as audio output every time I connect the TV. Any way to make the MBA do this by default, whenever the TV is connected to the displayport?
