Automatic menu drop....

A long, long time ago back in the days of the Classic Mac OS, there used to be an extension called "Now Menus" that would drop the menu bar automatically when the mouse was moved over it, without having to click to make the menu drop down.

Is there an equivalent for this is OS X?
