i download lots of stuff, so i have jdownloader running in the background pretty much all the time. however, since the network/isp here in indonesia is anything but bulletproof, sometimes there's some sort of network hiccup, and jdownloader start freaking out, plowing through my download que then stopping itself, when really all it needs to do is wait 5-20 minutes then try again. i've tried to find settings in jdownloader to fix this, but with no luck. usually it's no big deal, i just check the program every once in a while to see if it's ok, and restart it if it isn't. however, i'm about to go on vacation for a week, then turn off my internet for a month (basically for a facebook-free staycation, i need to finish mixing my bands latest album and i'll never get it done as long as i have facebook. lolcatz etc to keep me procrastinating) and i want my downloads running hiccup free while i'm gone. in the past, jdownloader always manages to get stuck about an hour after i leave!

SO what i'd like to do is do an automatic reboot of my computer nightly while i'm gone. i've set energy saver to do this for me every morning at 5am. however, i've been testing it before i leave, and every morning i get a message "logout was stopped by program x". how can i get this reboot to power through and reboot even when there are applications running?

or is there a more elegant solution? some way to restart a single program (jdownloader) every night instead?

thanks,
mw
