Automatic photo sharing

Confused about functionality. Have it set to automatic sharing. But the toggle in the camera app is set to personal library only. If I still have to manually switch it to sharing how is this automatic?

DITTO. This seems horribly broken. My wife keeps taking photos while out on errands and then getting home to find them NOT in our shared personal library! Same with me. My camera app keeps flipping back to personal. Even though I have the automatic setting on. This is useless if I have to keep manually copying photos into the shared library and haranguing my wife to manually set the setting EVERY time.

Same here!! Even set to Automatic sharing, and turning the camera toggle on, the damn thing keeps toggling itself off!
Super Frustrating.

If I have to constantly turn the toggle back on, then what the hell is the point of ”Automatic“ sharing?

Yep. Broken and poorly tested feature. I don’t know how stuff like this makes it to production.
