Automatic play controls for media... disable?

I’m on watchOS 4 beta and any time I play something on my phone, be it with Pandora, Audible, YouTube, or any other audio source, my watch face automatically changes into a media control interface. It’s annoying to have to hit the crown to exit out of this especially when I’m in the middle of something else involving my hands.

I’ve searched through settings and haven’t been able to find anything pertaining to this. Has anybody else stumbled across anything?

Go to watch app>general>wake screen. Turn off Auto-launch Audio Apps

Thank god. This was so annoying today and figured there had to be a solution.

Yep. It bugged me too after installing 4 DP4. It took me a day before I got frustrated and went into Settings looking for a way to turn it off.
