Hey,

I'm new to iPhones so I have a question.

Is it possible to get for example the Facebook app or an RSS app to update their listings automatically, so you know when there are new feeds to read or new status messages to ridicule? Seems stupid if you have to open an app for it to be able to update.

Thanks in advance.

Yeah, you can on the iPhone. It's called push, which means the app pushes the notifications straight to you, instead of you having to search for them.
