With all this talk about face-recognition in digital cameras and stuff, I was wondering if anyone had made an application yet that recognized faces in pictures, recognized the eyes and, if necessary, removed red eyes.

Anyone selling such an app for OS X priced at consumer levels?

(currently removing red eyes from 400 522 photos in iPhoto before ordering them, this is making me mad! ;))

I share your concern

Hi,

I've been thinking about that in the same line. Recently I found an interesting software called "Redeye AutoRemover" that is just doing just the thing you expected. Not sure if they used face reconigition, but the software really performed well when I tested it. Maybe you can download one if you do not mind running it on Windows :D

FYI, the company is called Bellence Technology and their website is www.bellence.com
